i think most people would pick an 98-02 spirit R conversion FD over an s2000 anyday and it would be cheaper still. The only reason why most people don't really buy rx-7s is because of the maintenance and rebuilds can be costly for those who dont research well and make sure their cars are safe (especially with no internal work) and mess up these rotary engines. most people get hondas because they are reliable that is true, and that is the good point. Every car has its good points. I'm not hating on either. I rather have an RX-7, because thats my choice. The FC I know for sure has more potential than an S2K on a straightaway, even a S2k with turbo cant measure quite up there. and for being an old car with 10+ years difference does make it look ridiculous, powerwise. and an s2000 cant really brag because the fc is much older. if an spirit r fd which is close to the year range is compared than the fd would out perform it. But being the roadster it is, it will handle better. And that is what it is made for, and thats to have good handling. So there you have it, 2 good cars from Japan.

Cute gif there. How original. I had a goal to get away from the FD not the rotary motor. The rotary engine still has it's benefits and to me a 510 would be a good car to see those benefits.

actually, don't get me wrong, but I love my FD. BUT, an sk2 running a vortech of comptech s-charger with a 10lb pulley, exhaust work, and 4.57 gears would give an FD a hell of a run for it's money even if the FD had bolt ons.
