Killed: Rally Wrx

So eriksseven and I left my parents house the other night to drop my Vr Coupe off at my house after a evening on cleaning and what not.

So on our way up the maybe 2-3 mile journey up to my house I get separated from erik in the small town traffic and he heads up the main road. I'm a ways behind and as I am coming up the hill I see some familiar taillights in the near distance. I speed up slightly to investigate. It was just as I thought I blue "bug-eye" Wrx. I ease up as we come up to a intersection...then the light flashes over to yellow. Did this really just happen?
But regardless I peacefully roll up next to him at the light and give his car the once over and I come to find a shiny cage lurking through the back window, along with dark gray Sti wheels and some super chunky rally style mud-flaps. It looked clean but during the course of the lights cycle he didn't look over at the unsuspecting Jetta coupe, not even once. The light finally turned green and we both slowly started off, I shifted into second shortly after, if he was going to take a jump 1st gear would do me much good losing traction. So I'm hanging out matching his speed in second, maybe 30-35 or so and he finally looks over and takes notice to the strange exhaust note my car produces....he speeds up a little more...then all of a sudden stands on it. I immediately put my foot down and instantly made up the ground that he just jumped ahead. By the top of second I was already pulling past him then he shifted into third and I gained about a half length. Then I ripped into third in continued to pull about another car and a half before I shut down.

I got up to the next light and could see the blinding taillights on eriksseven's car and I tossed on my hazards and started to flash my high beems in celebration for erik to see.

I called him told him what just went down and we planned for a second round. We both hung out in the right lane and waited for him. Sure enough he made a move to catch up to us. He lagged a little behind us and then attempted a classic wrx "ricer" fly by, I quickly grabbed second this time with erik right behind me. So the end result was the quick reversal of the poorly exicuted ricer fly by and erik and I pulled steadly away then both of us threw on our blinkers broke hard and railed the turn leading up to my house in true tandem stlye.

It must of been a interesting night for that Wrx owner.
Getting rocked by a Gray 91' Jetta, and getting blown away by two cars at the same time

He probably went home and told his buddies if you were on a dirt track he would have won.

Funny you should mention wasting a WRX! I dispatched this dude in a silver STI 4 times on the freeway. For some reason he just kept wanting more.....but I had to get off the exit. Go race an Evo.
