There is a local guy who I always see out and about with a red c6 corvette. Usually we are always going different ways, today was not the case. He pull's out behind me and follows me through the local parkway, nailing the throttle every once and awhile, I can see him and his woman laughing in my rearview

Finally we reach a two lane road, free of pedestrians and traffic and make a left. I take it slow around the corner, waiting for him to make the first move. He takes off, I hit it, spinning all through second and by the time I get some traction in 3rd he is well over a car length behind. He pulls up, looking like he had just seen a ghost, "What the hell do you have in there? That thing's insane!". We shot the **** at the next light, gave eachother the thumb's up and went our seperate ways. Good times!

did the c6 seemed fast? i know they have 400hp. but what about there top end

 

We only went from ~30-90 , so it's hard to say. I've seen a few stock ones at the track trapping 108-110, so they are not slow by any means.

 

you think the c6 z06 can be beatten?

I can't wait until people start modding the C6 Z06 like they did the C5. 500 hp out of the box...stock...from a n/a v8. Imagine FI thrown into the equation. Just picture a Lingenfelter...


There will be VERY few cars that will hang with the modded cars. There will be even fewer cars that will be able to hang with a modded one on the track. Because there will be cars that can take the overwhelming accerleration and top end of a vette, but will these cars be able to hang on the track with a vette also? Not many.
