no way an n/a 7 could do 120 in the quarter, i think what he meant by track was the highway.. the ricers track.

anyways, stock for stock both cars would be close to equal. if you have a bridge port like you claim and it is a real bridge(not some hack job that a 13 year old kid did and called a BP) then you should have taken him easily. no clue why anyone would do a motor swap in a kia, that is about the most stupid thing i have ever heard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!! but on to the point, he could have been spraying and advanced the timing. i have had kias that slipped the timing belt 2 teeth and they actually hauled ***, i was actually sad to have to time them correctly, lol.

 

with a stock n/a s4, you won't even see 100 on the 1/4 mile, right ? the reason his Kia was so close, is because your car is 20 years old, and fast for its time. sucks coming to terms w/ the fact that even cheesier new cars are faster than old sports cars...i hate it.

 

a stock n/a runs about 86MPH in the quarter, a stock TII runs just shy of 100.
