Have you seen the Dodge Magnum...

on TV when it races the Lotus??? I ran into one of those last night coming home from the grocery store. I saw a few cars back in my rearview. Moved around a bit and pulled up next to me. Did a stock exhaust rev at me while were waiting at the red light. I figured he's probably just messing around, guess i was wrong. Green light, he guns it and I just follow thinking should I?? so i go and all the way up to redline on 2nd gear. Looked back to see where he was only to find out he gave up real early on when he realized this wasnt a Dodge tv advertisement.
so a gallon of gas and about 30 car lenghts later i'm laughing my *** off...
Just thought some of you guys might find this funny, i know i did!

^Then may god help those of us without modded FD's or 20B swaps, because usually people who go through the trouble of turboing a V8 do it RIGHT!

Even in the V8 Hemi version they are nothing impressive. I dont know why the term HEMI invokes such delusions of speed to people, being that there are Minivans with "Hemi" heads but they can't call them that since Dodge owns the registration on the term Hemi when refferencing an engine. Yes, back in the 70s when nothing else had hemispherical heads that was something cool (and Dodge was using 400+ci engines in production cars).

CAR AND DRIVER Recorded a 14.7 @97mph QM (new hemi version) which is Turbo II territory. but the new Magnum has 110hp more than the Audi RS4 (440hp). IMO ill still pick the RS4.

Dont mean to bring this up but ill always do! that Chrysler Crossfire Srt-6 is nothing to play with as for top end. (330hp)

It didn't race a lotus in the commercial. It raced a kitted MR2 or Fiero. I can't remember which, but I remember Manntis proving this fact when the commercial first came out.

Do a search.

Anyways, I dig the Magnum R/Ts. They are really neat.

id rather have the SLK32 AMG

the last RS4 had 380hp, the current S4 has 340hp
