GT35R FD vs. 2008 GTR
#26
Hey nice kill Your air temps were nearly ice cold, at least as compared to Southern CA weather Also nice to hear the guy was a good sport about it, he may have been a former rx-7 or sports car owner, you never know! I'm not sure why you'd want to spend more money on your wonderful car or have a desire for a different car when you just opened up a can of whup-@$$ on something that has the complexity of the space shuttle and is a heck of a lot less attractive (read: pudgy & squarepants). To each his own, but just take pride in your win. Congrats and take care of your ride, they're a dying breed.

What Injectors Are Good For
DMoney,
I know you were guessing about your HP, but here is a good thread that gives a good idea as to what HP injectors are good for (also discusses duty cycle).
http://www.turborx7.com/fuelsystem.htm
I am currently running 550/1300s, but I will probably be switching to 850/1300s soon.
Agreed that the new GTRs look pretty nice. Very throaty as well...

Ya, the thing I just loved about the GTR was the rear. When we parted the exhaust and rear bumper just looked mean.

Yeah, I have scene a few 35r's in the 420+ range at 15psi. So that seems about right WITH the right tune...
I work in Franklin TN and have a customer that just sold a blk GTR.. Guy has crazy money but his 17yr kid is the one that usually drove it. Now he has some new M3 that is very nice. Dad drives a bentley, porsche GTS....There is another guy that has a 2 new Lambos', Ferrari and some gull wing mercede;s.. Too much money in the Franklin-Brentwood area. Very cool to pull into the parking lot and see these cars sitting there.

I'm probably very very wrong on the speed. I think 110 was the last thing I saw. My adrenaline was going and we were in traffic so my eyes weren't really on the tach. I shifted at about 8000rpm. I'm on stock wheels. I'll bring my car out this week and see what speed I am at at the top of 3rd. Also, I think we were on a slight decline if that would make a difference.
