GTFO if all your going to do is hate and brag. If anyone of here gave a damn about going fast in the snow or off road we wouldn't have Rx7s. Period.

Everyone has they're preferences and Rx7s are most of ours on here, go back to NASIOC

 

I was wondering why on a rotary site like this one they would allow a "subie" son to come in and talk trash.
Are there subies that are faster then rotaries of course there are,do I give a s..t about subaru...HELL NO!!!

In reality they are just cocky, I'm not really sure why. All they have are over glorified boxes that started out life as just another crappy car on the road. We like to drive real sports cars that where designed to fulfill a true diver's needs. Not ugly sedans with every driver aid under the sun to help compensate for their own lack of skill.

you guys were really giving him a hard time. he's just defending/justifying the car he bought and what he had done to it. so were you guys and that's ok.

 

u guys took it way too serious, all i got to say is... the rx7 is a amazing machine and it got my respect, it can do things my subie cant...some of which i wish it could, i almost got an rx7 but i cant live with 2 seats...you guys on here have a nice sport car and i wont deny it..but if any on here thinks a sti or evo is a shitty car, they are on crack....

I've had plenty of sports cars thru the years,some that would run circles around most 7's. But no matter what I always come back to the wankel!!

Hey big boss yeah I'm over 25 way over. What bother me was this KID comes here,he's never had a 7 talks smack to a lot of members and U were defending him. The son comment was meant to mock him. It's funny though how u thought it was meant to u and got offended. Maybe I miss it but I didn't see u telling him to stop when he was saying it to everyone else.
I'm not here to b dick towards u or anyone else. I join cause I love my 7 and this is a great tool to learn more about my car and meet people who enjoy it just the same.

i am still, just not into a forum war...each cars have its own capabilities..thats why we have them..

 

A few things to keep in mind before making such a conclusion:

1) there are like 20:1 Sti's/evos vs FD's. So the chances of seeeing faster ones is much greater. I see Sti's and evos every day, and what I see another FD once every 3 months if that. Keep in mind I live in San Diego not a small city by anymeans. And no offense man but you live in Lemoore and that's 10 miles east of nowhere. Seriously.

2) FD's are now 15-17 years old and the chances of them being healthy is much lower than lets say anything that was made within the last 5 years. Besides a lot of the new owners (young) actually lack the funds to keep them in good condition. The same goes for the FC, and FB's. It's just a reality.

with that nice sti btw it's always a pleasure to see fast rides. (well maybe not srt-4's ha ha yeah I read you had one as well )

Seriously what is your unbiased opinion of srt-4's? I'll be honest I like the car but loathe the owner. This is my take: they are fairly inexpensive but fast (in a straight line and from a roll,<-- you have a subie so you can compare directly), and can take extremely well to mods. The reason that they are owned by such dickehads is because given their entry price they are actually at the reach of young immature kids.

 

my srt4 is my daily driver, it gets better mpg than my sti and is quick for a stock car...a srt4 to me a is a over powered neon and nothing else...i wouldnt have owned it if didnt get it for 4k with 28k miles like i did ( the owner was leaving the country and needed it gone) the car is bone stock and still spin the tires...on the highway its pretty quick for what it is but other than that srt4's are no sport cars...
and the owners are just idiots, i have hang out with a few of them since i own one but i can tell you have yet to even been on the srt4 forums since i registered 1 year ago....srt4's make a greak dialy driver..the mpg is great and the passing power on the highway is above average...i dont really talk down over people cars and wont downgrade a srt4 like most people and its not because i own one..just that i have seen mildly tuned srt4's put the big hurt on guys running high hp cars... but if your into a car for its performance and nothing else i would rank the srt4 up there when it comes to modding for power...most people downplay the srt4 but how many of them own one? i wont lie tho if it came down to it, there is no way i will pick a srt4 over my sti.... not even if the srt4 is faster....plus i love the cruise control in my sti.

as an ex-rotary owner, i believe i will someday go back to another rotary. like 'louiethecat' said, that "thang" is what calls us.. it's the soul of the machine, and there is no soul like a rotary machine

Got rid of the C6, FD and my Civic to get my business up and running. I'm finally down to only one car lol

I will be coming out with something else if things keep going good, but we shall see..
