ill give it to that silver sti it pulls pretty dam well but the sti's in our area are not impressive at all. i dont mind the car i have just always seen them as slow up top for no real reason. dent sport garage is the name of the company DSG some people call them. they are well known in the northeast and the are great at tuning them as they have some strong evos and sti's that come out of there. however tito's silver sti seemed to pull pretty strong to 150+

lets see which car really rule the street... i can tell you right now it aint the rx7... i wont lie tho i have allot of respect for rx7 but all it takes is money to make any car fast, just dont see too many fast rx7 as i do evo's and sti"s

im not biased to the evo. i do like it better in certain aspects, but the sti has a better drivetrain. i actually looked into both before deciding on liking the evo better. a good friend of mine has an sti and i talked him into buying it. just they have a bad rep in my area. as a matter of fact i ran a stock turbo sti full bolt higher boost etc. with my old 240sx which trapped 108mph in the 1/4 and i pulled him just over a car. i think the main thing here is that alot of the sti owners are very cocky and possibly they have the wrong setups. i was just disapointed with the 2.65 stroker 35r sti here. i did go for a ride in it and it did seem to pull hard looking at the speedo but once he raced some of the faster cars in the area he got walked on.

i aint scarred of no evo or sti, and im sure there is faster ones then my 400rwhp fd but i can give a ****! im sure theres other cars out there faster then those too
i am not gonna spend 30k+ on any of those cars....ever

i am not talking about your car son, the offe was for any1 on here that think sti's have no top end... i already got another gt30r sti and a gt35r sti up for the challenge

By the time I'm done I would have spend about 7-8k and the only 2 things a"subie"could beat me at is how much money they spend and how many people they can have in their car

i wish i was in the area i like a good competition race. well if anyone on here from cali steps in and decides to come out and run you and your buddy that would be good. im just putting it up there so the rx7 boys brake boost. thats half the battle.
as for cocky sti owners. they are mostly in my state. the guy with the 2.65 stroker started calling out runs for $1k but would not show the money for me to go home and get my car. and the full bolt on sti i ran did the same thing but he wanted to run for $500 against anyone in the parking lot, lol. he was basicly calling out 130mph cars. then he was dumb enough to say he ran 10's when he lived in vegas blah blah.... so i stepped up and ran him in my 240sx and he still lost. we had just raced for fun though he also didnt want to come up with the money in the end. over in CT the sti owners are pretty cool i go out to the tunernetwork meets and they are all sti and evo guys.

.....lol.. my sti has just under 4k into it and it makes 400whp on pump and 485whp on race gas... let me add 3k more to match your 7k...lol it wont even be a contest..evo's and sti's are just better platforms..

oh! lets dont forget when i go the track i dont need to bring another set of tires with me and hopes of getting traction..even tho my car do spin all 4's off the line but will still pull 60' foot better than what any rx7 owner can dream for on street tires..

The only reason I'm building an fb is cause I not only grew up with them I have 2 cycle running thru my veins!
As far as him spanking me after the t2 swap u forgot to read the part"with all the goodies"that will never happen.
As far as the snow comment my "subie"friend just post it thats why I have the 550rwhp HEMI for.
S..t my boat is faster than that subie!!
