First Ownage with my FD vs. STi

So i was making a freeway change and taking the onramp when i notice a STi kinda hovering behind me in the rear view. At first glance he kinda looked actious and I thought hell just got Dyno tuned I can play now. As were kinda sitting in traffic waiting to merge onto the open freeway I notice hes going to try and overtake me by merging early onto the freeway I scoot a little over to the left as to block him a little didnt want him to get away with out an even pull. Well as it starts to filter out and people start getting on the freeway Im in 1st kinda rollin on waiting for him to make a move, I see it his head turns to the left to check if hes clear and he tries to stab it and get in front of me, IM still in first drop the clutch bring up the RPM a little and drop it, ****** second gear and hes close but I sqeeze over in front of him. At this point hes looking a little less confident through my rear view mirror as he kinda falls back. I knew it wasnt done so as im driving im trying to watch my rear view mirror to keep an eye on when this loser is going to try a fly-bye on me. Sure enough about two miles down the freeway i see him comin like a bat out of hell im thinking there is no way hes getting away with this so I drop third ( doing about 65 -70 )to bring on the secondary turbo and when he getts around three cars behind and coming up I stab it, he flys by but not as fast as I think he would of liked to,I pull though third shift into fourth and im already catching back up, when he had passed me he probablly had about three cars on me and i reeled him in fast, at around 110 I was already on his bumper I kinda just played with my BOV on his bumper lol kind catching letting off catching letting off letting until around 125 just letting him know I had planty more to go if I needed it. He bowed down and got over, gave me thumbs up and got off at the next exit. It was a good first kill for my new play toy. On the same trip on the way back ran into a 300zx twin turbo but he didnt want to play with me. Thanks for reading I plan on posting more.

Its not 174MPH stock...its 164. My friend has an 06 STi and we took it to 164 and it had NO MORE. They have amazing low end/mid range but highway they cant keep up with a well tuned FD. At least not unless they have some serious mods.

I know all about AWD from a dig I use to have a fully biult 1g ecplipse GSX, JE piston, crower rods, titanium valves, retainers, stage 3 ported head HKS 272/264 cams, TRE tranny, Spearco front mount, gt35/40R 20lbs of boost 720 injectors, DSM link, and a whole bunch more goodies. My 7 is nowhere near it but I have surprises in the works and it soon will be. Best story from a dig was in Vegas. There was some guy out at the runs showing off his NSX and no one would race him I was like **** it. (Car wasnt as modded as mentioned before ) smaller t3/t4 at about 17lbs of boost. As soon as he found out i was AWD he started crying so I gave him FOUR car lengths! flagger flaged and no joke right from the dig I had alreday caught him shifted into second and I was already a car in front of him. Best parts was my freind recorded it and it got poted up for like 3months. It was great.
