Talking First kill with my T78 :)

I had my t78 for a few months but havent ran anyone on the street yet.

On my way back from filling up a 07 Corvette with new tags pulls up my *** and then does a ricer fly bye. We meet up at the next light and I couldnt launch since I had another car infront but I catch the Vett at 60mph. The guy looks over at me and hits it, he pulled about one length before I got on it. Holy crap , I pulled about five car lengths on him instantly. I was a bit occupied steering and laughing out loud but I backed off at 125mph. He was about seven car lenghts behind by then.

God I love this machine

Good kill!

I'm curious as to boost response with that turbo. I've heard everything from full boost (15ish psi) at 4200 rpms to full boost at 5300 rpms. what do you see on your setup?

nice kill

T78 FTW

just wait until you get a half bridge. its almost like the spool of a non sequential turbos but you redline @ 8500rpm

but watch out for rain. easily spin out with just little boost

Full boost at 15psi at 4200 rpm's. It didnt feel like lag until I drove in my friends stock FD. But its well worth the kick in the pants once its spooled up.

Honestly, I'm sure your car is sick. I easily pulled a C6 however, with Stock twins running sequential @ 12psi, HFC, Dp, Apexi n1, intakes, Medium IC Pettit, and PFc tuned by Steve......

What's weird is a C5 Z06 pulls slowly on my and yet I walked a 360 Spyder.....

^Well, a 360 isn't exactly a supercar. Its more on par with a C5 'Vette (in the sense of having a nice, fast, sporty car that'll get looks). Granted, its better than anything I'll have anytime soon, but still not really a big deal if you've got a decently built FD.

like our cars, the ferrari 360 is better suited on a race track. The ferrari f430 on the other hand is an animal everywhere.

If i'm reading this right. How do you easily pull a C6 but lose to a C5 Zo6? It would have to be a bad driver in the c6. I am making 373 whp and my neighbor has a c6 and ive raced stock c5 zo6's . I pull them both but niether by hell of a lot. A few cars but the comparison is about the same. G

I like the T78. Although laggy compared to stock, it's not too bad and more than worth it once spooled. Doesn't feel much more laggy than my 60-1, and I get full boost (12 psi) by 5000 rpm. Some say it "old technology" and "too big for the street" but I disagree, you just have to drive it like anything else. 1st gear rolls are ok or 2nd gear from 4500 rpm. If you floor it in a high gear from a low rpm, there is a lot of lag. I would definitely consider getting another one, and the engine can be set up to spool even more aggressively (like someone said 4200 rpm).
