so my friend mike, had the nicest focus around for a while, it wasn't quick but he was an autocrosser and that thing killed me on a course. he unfortunately got in a wreck and kept saying theres a focus i'm getting that will beat your fd and i kept telling him "we'll see"

so a few nights ago i get a call from him saying "i'm in arizona picking up my new focus, i'll be back in florida in about 30 hours" i laughed, he actually arived back in about that time frame and wanted to run i met up with him and good god the car was sexy.. i mean i hate focus' but it was clean (it was the sedan kind not the hatch) so we go off and the thing sounded nasty he told me it had i think what was a gt25 or maybe 35 i cant remember, but i got excited, he ran my friend with a cammed evo before me and the evo had less than a 1/2 car on him. so i got more excited, we pulled up to a light, i was mad because my tires are pretty much bald we launch he pulls hard on me because he had azenis on and it was a stripped track car pretty much, around 2 gear i caught up, 3rd gear i pulled about a car on him and 4th i pretty much held it there...

i'm seriously impressed with that car, i dynoed at 305 hp at a local dyno a while back. he wont tell me his numbers but i heard around that it had 285 hp and 265 ft/lbs of torque.

i'm sad to say that i actually enjoyed running this focus. i wish i had a video.

 

sweet run i bet that focus is just insane

 

i really hate the cars, but i've never really seen a modded version of the sedan, and i got to watch it autocross the other day and it was insane it had the fastest times out there it beat all kinds of ferraris and porsche's only thing it lost to was a shifter kart, but thats understandable haha.

 

I've seen a couple of supercharged SVT hatches that were crazy, the focus platform is actually pretty good for an econo car, those things are a weapon of choice around the cones.

that a sick *** looking focus, now thats one other car i wouldnt be ashamed of driving
