HI
My friend have a 997 carrera S with porsche performance kit (381 hp)...he wants to try if the "sport" botton really gives 26 hp to the engine...He wants to run with my FD first with botton "off" and then "on"...somebody have just run with a 997 or 996 carrera 2?...what you think about the winner?
my FD have knightsport RF420 turbocharger, PFC, HKS full 3'' exhaust, greddy pulley kit, sard FPR, stock intake (kn panel filter) and stock intercooler

Can someone post some numbers on this. I raced one also, back when my car was slightly more then stock, and it had me by a few lengths. I am just curious, I did not have 13 psi at the time.
For the first time since 1977, Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, launched two new 911 models at the same time: the 911 Carrera with a 325 bhp, 3.6 liter boxer engine, and the 911 Carrera S, powered by a newly developed 3.8 liter engine, which delivers 355 bhp. With torque of 295 lb-ft, the S model surges from zero to sixty mph in 4.7 seconds. The Carrera does this in exactly five seconds. Top speeds for the Carrera and Carrera S are 177 mph and 182 mph respectively. The two 911 models from the 997 series will be launched across Europe on 17 July 2004 (with the exception of the right-hand drive market in Great Britain).

Try not to do more then two pulls however, due to your stock intercooler and heat soak, I think that’s your biggest enemy.
See if you can get it on tape for our viewing pleasure. Good luck Rome.
What are your mods??
