well it started out when i saw some hot shot revving his new red mustang. i drove by and gave him the thumbs down, and of course he flipped me off. he then pulled in behind me and followed me to the nearest highway. i waited for the little pony in first gear. i let him get beside me and waited for him to punch it. i quickly followed and it was pretty even in first. shifted into second and once the secondary turbo kicked in, pulled a little over a car length instantly. by third gear it was all over talked to him at the next stop light to find out he had full exhaust with no cats, intake, computer, and a modded tranny.

I'm not really surprised, I used to work for Ford as a porter so I have driven EVERYTHING they have to offer and the stang is slow as ball sweat. Good kill though.

i had to post this because i was searching around the kills lounge and someone posted a link to a video on streetfire i think. his rx7 walked all over some guys new mustang. people where posting on streetfire that they didnt think it was fair that the rx had more mods than the mustang, and that a equally modified mustang would waste the rotary.

08 stangs come either v6's or the v8's.

If you didnt race the GT version, you raced the v6 one which is slow.

Not saying your FD couldnt beat a GT, just saying it wouldnt be much of a slaughter.

GT's are quick.

Gt's run 13's if there lucky i was at the thack yesterday and a blown shelby 6 speed with street tires ran 12.45 1/4 i run 11.6 1/4 on street tires so im not impressed, except the owner was a nice guy!

And i have to say the shelby owner lost his right arm to the elbow yea his right arm and he shifted that car as well as any one else i was more impressed by that!

 

yeah the shelbys are kinda dumb what kind of company gives a car 200 more horsepower and doesnt change the suspension???

 

ive worked on and drove enough of those pigs to know what i was messing with, it was a v8 and it was not stock.
while i somewhat like the 4.6, its just not competitive with an rx7 weighing over 800lbs less.

 

 

Just went on vacation and rented an 09 mustang. It was the v6, and while not being the fastest of cars, it was still a fun car to cruise around in. I think its all about the attitude like anything else. Just like ricers, you could completely screw up a seven by making it gay like in F&F and have that shitty "my car is faster than yours" attitude, or just enjoy your car and have fun driving it around with some pride.
