Don't know how to ride your Busa?
This guy didn't. It's pretty much well known that a large portion of people that buy Busa's don't really know how to ride bikes, and just get one because they have money and heard it's the fastest bike ever. Well, one rolled up next to me on my F4i at a stop light this afternoon and started rolling the throttle. I figure why not, I'll take him through first and maybe half of second gear just to see what happens. Light turns green, I have the throttle steady at about 5,000 rpm's and start feathering on the clutch so I don't wheelie. Once I'm fully engaged he has about the length of a front tire on me, and I hit second real fast. Funny thing is, he doesn't. I hear him bounce off of redline, and realize that he completely missed second gear. Needless to say, smoked.
Funny, I've yet to come across any other biker that revved on me. Usually we'll have a quick chat at a stoplight and ride together for a little bit. This guy seemed like he was out for blood.

Your signature is hilarious, 2ndgenrocket.
This is a bit random but I thought it was very strange that you and 1RevvinFC3S have almost identical number of posts, and you are both over 1000.

im not into the 1000's really. i have a gsxr 600 with nitrous and a gsxr 750 that i dont even ride cause the sixxer is cooler. the 600 is more than enough power especially on the spray. i think the biggest bike id even buy is a 750 cause the 1000 is wat to much for the street and ive been riding for years. i would get a busa any day though

Good job!!! I will agree with you that there are a ton of riders out there that give the rest of us Busa owners a bad name. They buy it for the name and the bling and that's about it.
Superior Force - The litre bikes are too much for the street because of how they are designed. The Busa is easy as hell to ride and doesn't have the "twich" that the litre bikes have. It's just smooooooth.
Where did you see that it was confirmed that the GSXR1000 has 160RWHP confirmed? All the guys that I know who have them are getting mid 150's. Dynos can very though. Remember when the ZX10R came out and one of the magazines tested it at 164RWHP or something like that, then all the owners were pissed because they were running mid 140's to low 150's? Make sure you go off of what the average bike off the showroom floor is running and not the magazine test bikes that the manufacturer's are sending them directly (more than likely a mesaged version).
If you think that the litre bikes pull hard everywhere you've never ridden a 12R or a Busa, that is the true meaning of pulls hard everywhere in sport bikes.

Bikes= too much speed, not enough protection. I got a chance to ride an 01 model F4i (I think the first year they came out) and I turned it down because it scared the **** outta me, kinda like Dom was afraid of that Charger in F&F yo! Not only that, but I've never ridden a bike, so.

Busas are really fun bikes. I have taken one a couple of laps at Road Atlanta. I couldnt turn the kind of lap times that I do on my 600 with it but the rear end comes around real nice in turns 6 and 7 and the bike hit 180mph (speedo) going into turn 9. They are a pig (super heavy) and take way to long to stop but are totally fun bikes.
