so, saturday night i was cruzin home, and a "modified" red jellybean (civic hatchback... lets just call them jellybeans from now on, k?) TRIES to pull a ricer flyby and waves as he attemped to pass me. (he had a girl in the car with him, so i HAD to show him what a rotary does...) so i "casually" kick the rex down into second from 4th, and proptly leave him by 2 lengths before slowing down. about 5 minutes later at a stoplight...the red jellybean is back at my side, revving live a dumbass, rolls down his window, and says "think you got something?" i just shake my head and wait for the light to turn green. within 3 seconds im more than a car length on him, and still gaining ground. after about 10 seconds of running full open, i hit my street and turned, but i sure would've LOVED to see his face after getting demasculated in front of his girl after talking trash. all i have to say to him is... "welcome to Rotary Rocket Science 101...you just got schooled!"

I'll never understand why ricers have that cocky attitude. I had a guy in a RICED out prelude say "I'll beat you and I don't even have turbo" when I was in my DSM.

yea, she was hot too! i'd PIHB.
his mods...as far as i can tell...lowering kit, turbo with overly loud BOV, rice spitting fart can exhaust, and a hot chick.
my mods...suspension, BP 13b, holley 650, custom fabbed exhaust, nitrous (not installed at the moment), and kicked the ot chick to save weight.

good kill............. but just out of curiosity how do you casually shift down from 4th to 2nd seems like thats gonna be a little rough either way.

 

i like it rough. but really, i was crusing in fourth, only running about 3000 rpm. figured a 2 gear downshift wouldnt hurt anything too bad. and by casually, i mean...i had to show up the jellybean, so it was more of a slam into second

It would've been AWESOME to see the squeamish look on that guys face and the akward silence that surely followed his embarrasment... LOL

 

FB kills are the best. no one (read ricer) expects it from something that old and small. I was heading out for a drive with a few friends the other night when a RSX tried to hang out with with on the highway. he didn't last for long.

 

I never let them get the flyby...Usually when the music is turned down I can hear the maxwell house exhaust a mile away. I watch them in my rear-view until they start to try to pass. Then, before they even know that I've seen them, I kick it into (whichever gear is appropriate for the speed im going) and go. He never even gets the satisfaction of passing me once :-D
