well not kills, but still good for my baby!

So i was driving on an uphill section of road with some deceint corners... and i was at a stop light, i think i had had my car maybe 4 or 5 days (im at about 2 weeks now) and 2 cars ahead of me was a nicely done up S2000, not that ricer bullshit but nice JDM stylings. anway there was a car between us as i was behind him. at the light driving like normal but i know the road rather well so i got it up to about 3500 in 3rd and passed the minivan, and get up behind the honda, as im approaching the passing zone. so i ROMPED it, as he sees me shift over to the other side of the road i see/hear him downshift (man that V-TEC is loud). and i cruise right past him. and we are going probably around 80 or so up this nice uphill "Touge" section, i keep a decient distance in front of him as we are careening through these turns, and then another straight section comes up, we are probably in 5th gear now and i was around 4k rpms when i see him shift lanes, again the scream of that vtec kicks in and he slowly pulls ahead of me... then keeps going. So sure enough i get behind him again, and start flashing him to pull over. we sat and talked for a while and he was asking me all these questions...oh what do you have done, turbo, exhaust, stand alone...etc and i was like....NOPE stock 87 GXL N/A his jaw kind of dropped and we parted ways. i would have to say for myself it might not have been a kill but at least i know that my car, which is probably about 19 years his elder can still hang. i was so happy the rest of the night. i mean sure with my old GTI VR6 i would have stomped him any day of the week. but just knowing that my stock FC still has a bit of pep... man what a car i love her even more now.

Thanks for listening!

Also about 2 days ago i was driving through Farmington on my way to CCSU in New Britian (connecticut). and i was at a light and a BMW M3 FLIES by me at the intersection and cuts me off... i was like **** THIS!...so im holding the revs right around 4 grand in 2 through a few turns untill i know i will be at a 2 lane section...and got on it pretty good, i got a good jump but he had an 80k M3 Fully tricked out like nothing i had ever seen before. the sound this thing produced...was enough to make anyone drool. so we were flying around another uphill section and i was staying rather close to his bumper. we pull up together at the next light and i know the kid!!! turns out he went to my highschool graduated a few years before me. (his family is LOADED!) and he calls out "hey man! nice move back there, i had no idea those things were that quick...." again it wasnt a kill for me, but just having another kid with a brand new 80K dollar car, makes me feel fantastic since i only spent 2 grand on mine!!! hahah whoo hoo! GOTTA LOVE THE WANKEL!!!

and your stock 87 NA hung with these big boys? Stock NA's are pretty slow compared to a s2000 or bmw m3. If it was a TII, I'd believe you. are you sure this happened.....

I want an S2000 all of a sudden. I don't know why, but the past week or so I've been craving one.

You were in 5th gear at 4k rpm, what were you doing like 140mph in 5th gear?

And I do raise the BS flag, I know Stock TII's and my car have trouble keeping up with a decent driver in a S2000 - and I have the instant boost over the TII's...so unless #1) The top's down #2) The car's engine is defunct #3) The guy is a total tool I seriously doubt he was pushing it or knew how to drive.
