Hey all I did not know where to post this so I felt this place would be the best.

I am planning a monthly Canyon cruise in SoCal. I had one last month and it was great. So I plan on doing one for the month of September. The 15th of sept. which is a friday.

It will take place around 6pm ish.

I am not sure what the route is but I know it will be fun.

It is a cruise not a race or anything. Just a nice drive through some local canyons and a BBQ or something at the end.

The ride will end at a destination with food. I love food and driving so we do them both.

Well I may have a route but not sure, But I do know where we will meet and where our destination will be. WE will meet at Starbucks off Tapanga Canyon off the 101. Its in the petco parking lot.

We will meet there around 6 ish. After the cruise we will meet up at my friends house for a BBQ and some swimming, so If you are planning on coming a swimsuite should be with you if you want to swim.

Getting supplies for the BBQ will be done after the cruise. That way we wont have them in the cars during the cruise.

I will put up more info as I get it.

 

Check out the either 28 or 25. It runs between thousand oaks and malibu. It has some great great curves. Also, Angeles crest is pretty nice. If you take the 210 west where it meets 134 and go a couple of exits to the Angeles crest exit and heads towards the mountains you've got about 60 miles of beatiful canyons. It reaches elevatio 7500+. Also, head over to the west rx7 section and I'm sure you'll find more people. I'm definatly in for weekend runs!

 

27 off of the 101. I havent been up there in years.

 

I am always down for new roads, but for this run I am going to stick around the malibu area just because my friend who will be hosting our little BBQ lives in malibu.

Of course its bring your own food and supplies =)

 

Best place to post this would be in the West Section on the forums..

I'd be careful around malibu/hollywood cayons.. alot of cops.

im 100% in. Angeles Crest is great. I live 5 min away from it. take 210 west prob from where you all are comming and signs will show angel Crest HWy. nice restaurants on the top/middle too. Very Nice. If their is anyone down for Angleles Crest soon let me know, im alway down.
