You would probably pull him but not nearly as bad as you say. Unless of course your car is much lighter. I was wondering if you knew the weight of your car w/o driver? AWD DSM's are 3100lb stock.

We went from a 40-45 roll and i was in 3rd(should have went to 2nd) and she pulled a car on me b4 i stopped her pull and began my own By the time i shifted to fourth I had about half a car on her then I just walked away.
Either way the DMS owner was really cool and let us look at her setup( sorry but i can't remember what turbo or boost she was running but the car seemed well put together)and she did ALL the work herself. And she does have a heavy *** system in the back as well. So like you said before the 7 was deffinately a lot lighter than the DSM. Hope this clears things up a bit.

The DSM was a 1G and FWD but there really is know way for us to know her exact #s or if she was full of BS all we can go by is what we were told. I am probably mistaken but I thought 400whp was not far at all out of reach for a DSM w/ aftermarket turbo and propper fuel and tuning pump gas or not. But like I said you would probably know better than me. But.....I do know what Dave's (Apnea) car is capable of, And I don't find it hard to beleive at all. I'll try to get some pix or maybe even video of this girls setup next time i am out there and i see her.

Apneablue, pulling 12 cars is a ridiculous lead. Now that I know this car was a 1G FWD there is absolutely no way it was putting down 400whp, or the driver was at 50% throttle. FWD DSMs weigh in at only 2800lbs stock (sometimes lighter), which is similar to the FD. The race would have been very close even if the FD still won, but it certainly would not pull 12 cars.
