Any FD's in Orlando want to run?

link didnt work...but i know what u are getting at. i been in a few fds including my own that have both an autometer boost gauge and the power fc and they have read identical boost. i run 15psi on my boost gauge and it reads 1.05 on my power fc. if i run 10psi it reads .7x. if u are insinuating that the pfc reads low u might be wrong.

Yes, The PFC reads lower boost than actual with the default PIM scale and offset. The amount of error is greater as boost goes up (1-2 psi low at 10 psi?). The PFC boost reading can be corrected with better scale and offset values but then the current tuning may need some changing. It is best to "calibrate" the boost before starting to tune and probably isn't worth changing if you already have a "good" tune. You need a Datalogit and a MityVac with boost and vacuum so not everyone has the tools and understanding to do it.

Here's a couple of related threads...

I found this from another thread which may help you better understand. The PFC needs to be calibrated to the areas barometric pressure. if your not havig a problem its probably do because the pressure in the area is close to the presets.

Hmm maybe I'll give you a run on the summer break when I head down for a little R&R. Will see my near stock FD run your 07 "limted". I plan on racing my friends 06 Sti with intake an DP I wonder how I will stack up but I most likey will beat him because he shifts at 6k an doesn't dare go past it. If I do go down I would hope you have some goodies done to you car by then.

actually, mine seems to be the opposite... 12 psi on autometer gauge shows .92 on PFC. .92 is just at 13 psi right? 1.0 on pfc is 14.2 psi. oh yeah, 1.05 on pfc is not 15 even, its more like 14.5 not even 1 bar.

The most i get on my pfc is .52. I know when you put the PFC theres a few wires you need to cut that i didnt cut, could that have anything to do with it?

If you want to come down here and race, I can make it worth your while. Monitarily speaking.
