i dont recomend you race a full bolton FD. This morning i got next to an 06 STI w/ exhaust. All i can tell was exhaust. it was a highway run from 65mph. in 3rd gear waited for him to drop, and hit it. then i went and immediatly pulled hard on him. i pull about 2 just in 3rd gear, and at the top of 3rd i9 hit fuel cut (nailed 1.05MMHG because of the cold *** weather). in 4th i partial throttled it to keep boost down around 10 psi AND I STILL PULLED! i had about 6 on him at the end of 4th from a mostly partial throttle race. it wasnt pretty. again, this was modded STI, same year as yours.... i dont know what else was on it. but if you want a close race, or not to get totally owned. i dont recomend racing any FD with more than 265whp. Today with the cold weather i was making roughly 380+ in 3rd gear, and much less than that in 4th as i was only half throttle.

LOL. if the guy in the STi today only knew i was half throttle it would be like:

is your setup still seq.?? if so, theres is probably a vac problem or one of the many problems from the solenoids, precontrol, etc. when does it boost? does it go higher than 7 then drop to 7? is your 2nd turbo spooling?

yes, you took the words right out of my mouth. the problem is definatly in your seq. setup. its kindof a pain in the *** to fix. i just tore it all out, and performed a full non-seq. conversion and now i have no seq. problems, and alot of power. i would not race your car, it is way down on power.

With the power loss dont you think i would be running at close to stock levels? He did want to run a stock fd.

No. My guess is you are going to be beolow the stock levels. Im sure your PFC is not tuned so its running the Base Mod Map. It runs rich with DP, Intake, Intercooler, and Catback. Do you still have the factory pre-cat on your car??

yes because you live a 1/4 mile at time right? Tell me more Vin.

Major mods? What do you call a streetport? Or a TUNED stand alone ECU? Show us your ignorance come on.

BTW FD's take extremely well to mods so with "only those mods" I have about 100 HP more than stock at only 2 psi above stock.

You just hit send without even thinking did you?

doubt it. the motor is built for boost to make power. your mods will not add much iif anythihng when your running less boost than stock.

again, this is the kill story section. if you don't race it don't bother posting. you have no times and you say 1/4 isn't your thing, where do you road race it? what was your best lap at whatever course you take it to?

Did the person who made the thread post a kill??......No. If he wanted to find a race in his area he should have posted it in the SE section.

Yes the newbie tells me where I can post. This is the kills section where any kind of kill is allowed read the rules at least. I responded on that other thread asking you if you ever come to San Diego because I'd like to run you, and you replied. Therefore you KNOW I play. Hence your post is stupid and pointless.

Just FYI, not everyone who puts there car on a road course also tracks their lap times. For a lot of people, its just a safe environment to push their car as hard as they feel comfortable. No F1 contracts are usually waiting for them around the corner.

^^exactly. I don't live for racing sorry. I can look up my exact times on line but what would that tell you? Do you know the track? nope.

Either way:

Wow! Did this get out of hand! I would like to know why dakotaracer decided to be a member of this forum seeing that he owns an LS1 Camaro. This is a rotary forum, do you own a rotary? If not, you obviously have done what you came here to do, which is, cause trouble. I don't remember you answering the guy in Cali that said he has a straight line car for you to race. You did'nt post for about a page and a half so I guess you were thinking of something to say. I was wrong about that 'cause you said nothing at all about that post.
Some of you kids get a car to go over 90mph and think you're the fastest thing on the planet. Dakotaracer, I picked you out 'cause you attacked just about everyone that posted here and, from your attitude, you got your chest all puffed out thinking no one on this forum can and will beat you. There are guys here with LS1 swap in their FD. With the mods some of them have, I'm sure they will beat you. Do I need to mention the guys here with 20B motors? I don't think we have to go as far as the LS1 and 20B guys 'cause I know of at least one guy here (Lupe) that has the original issued 13B in his car and is running in the single digits.
