Any FD's in Orlando want to run?

Hey guys, I drive a bone stock 2007 STI Limited and I wanted to know how I stack up against some bolton FD's. I'm in the Orlando area so anyone trapping in the vicinity of 103-105 I'd like to race, from a roll or dig, I don't really care. Of course I'd prefer a dig but whatever

damn bro. A little harsh don't ya think? the guy just wants a friendly race to see how he does against a car that you don't see very often on the road, and which he obviously has respect for.

Edit- What do healthy ALL (not even a DP) stock FD's trap? 101 mph... anybody?

Yeah, not trying to be rude, but a stock, well running FD will give you a damn good run for your money. They respond very well to bolt ons too (i.e. exhaust, intake, etc). BTW, don't be detered by offensive **** people may post. Its just the forum and you are a noob with something besides an RX-7, so of course you're gonna get some flak. Don't take it seriously though. You'll be alright. Its a pretty cool place.

Good question.

To the poster:

You would probably beat a STOCK FD down the quarter-mile, but even a lightly modified Rx7 would take a stock STI easily.

That being said, if you happened to run into one on the freeway, it's likely that it'll beat you even if it were in stock form (which it probably wouldn't be)... You'd probably have a chance if it were a stock auto though.

I ran a 13.39 @ 102.7 so I mean, I can drive. I know I've seen SOME FD's at the track with boltons running ~low 14's but I now that's driver error. I'd love to go from a dig, I know what my car is capable of and I'm just looking for some good races.

I'll be running STU next season, if that answers your question if I bought the car to drag race :P

It's a 13 year old car, making 220ish rwhp from 1.3 liters. What do you expect, the lifespan of a 90 whp honda motor?

To the sti guy: i raced the same year as yours with an exhaust/ intake/ and cobb access port. i have full bolt ons with bad spark blow out only running 10 psi (which is stock boost) and i pulled very hard on him. if you want a closer race, race an FD with JUST intake and a catback and of course the decent driver mod. dont look at those guys running 14s at the track, they are not what this car is capable of.

And to these other guys on here talking ****. this STI guys post was not cocky at all. there was no reason to go off like that. your giving the rest of us a bad name.

Gs_3rd_gen- just blow this guy away and end his thoughts that he would beat a bolt on car

Word, it's all good. I just want to race a damn FD, LOL.

Even if I get my *** kicked, I don't care. I see a lot of talking but no one is stepping up
