finally got to get a run in with this cobra. car went 9.7 at 146mph on this setup. his car is an 04 cobra with 76mm turbo at 17psi pump gas. my fd for these runs was at 602whp at 27psi pump/meth. race went 1-1 couldnt hear beeps well, here is the vid.

Yea second run was 50mph and I started in 3rd but I wanted to reel him in lol. Another vid from behind , I didn't end up jumping just had a solid brake boost check out when the brake lights go out on both cars .

re-edited the video ran a 700whp boss 302 with a novi blower on it and its on 100 octane.

i just ordered hoosier tires to put the 40psi to the ground and hopefully hook on my 700whp map. going to run a fully modded gsxr 1000 that runs 9.20s at 150. also there is supposed to be an alpha 12 gtr being built for next year so we will see lol. if it really is an alpha 12 it should beat me .

Looks like you weren't expecting the beep on the 302 race, and that you were about 1/4 of car ahead of the cobra on that particular race. Not like it matters, since you walked them both

 

You're gonna be fighting traction and that GTR's AWD/ crazy drivetrain. If your gears are long enough, @ over 700whp your top speed on paper should be competitive with his. I think it will be an interesting race after 150 mph but probably not much road soon after that. The FD has amazing top end and power to weight ratio.
