88 Gxl (n/a) Vs. Civic Hatchback
I SAY BS. A B16 Hatchback would of killed you even if it were stock. The NA rx-7 aren't that fast and with your mods compared to his, he definitely beat you. I have been around a lot of hondas and raced a lot with my 91 NA, and I never could beat a B16 Sir II Hatch. Yes, it was the jdm, but the us b16 isnt that much different. Its pretty close. If it was a 2000 civic si coupe, I might believe you if your car had a good running engine, but if its a swapped hatch, I call bs. seriously. you dont need to lie to kick it.

Either the Civic doesn't have the engine he claims he does, or you're bad at making things up. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt, but a b16 swapped hatch would have owned you. Less weight, and a good bit more power = you lose.
ok for starters a 93 civic si will do 120 mph...and reading this i thought that is what he was racing till he said it had a b16 swap..if it would have been from a dead stop i could see you killing him if you knew how to take off..as from a roll it would have been a hard car to beat.. hes got less weight than you hes got about 180ish hp...and i know of b16 swaps around here doing over 140 mph on the highway...im not going ot say its not the truth i wasint there maybe his motor was fuct runing on 3 cyl who knows it you say it happend than i guess it did....lol whats the g/f's number we can call and ask her

I raced a 99ish SI with mods, not sure what, and stayed about even or he might have taken about a half car from 70-105. That's the end of third and somewhat into fourth.
I'm guessing the dude had full exhaust + headers, and maybe some kind of computer, cause normally I can take them by around a car or two.
I also had a bunch of **** in my hatch, full bag of clothes and ****, but he also had a passenger.
That SI was loud as ****, too, heard it EASILY over my car. My mods in sig.
I couldn't talk to the guy cause we took different exits off the highway.

if the hatch had a b16 he was prolly runnin with the ecu from the from old engine or he doesnt kno how 2 drive.. my frend has a b18 in his hatch stock and he takes off on my fc like a ferrari vs a geo metro on boost.. if it isnt for the computer being diffrent then he prolly has a single cam Vtec engine and he lied 2 u..

It was pretty cheap b/c the body is an absolute piece of ****. Its got black fenders, hood, and front bumper. The rest is turquoise.
I think it is the funniest thing in the world to see him walk Mustang GT's. I'm not saying it's stupid fast, it just looks so wrong lol.
I'm more worried about the Full Race turbo kit sitting in his closet lol.

I don't know what kinda crack some people are on but my 1990 CB7 bone stock accord with 177,xxx miles will get to 120 on the freeway with no problem. Maybe it has 130hp, but it also weighs a few hundred pounds more than a hatchback civic..
