87 TII vs Speed3
I'm wondering when the dual pump solution is going to catch on like the GM LBZ/LLY/LM6 diesels. Currently there are upgrade options moving the pump from the 400 range to the 550, but why not add 400 to an existing 400, the HPFP on the LLYs are cam shaft driven, but the 2nd one can be belt driven! then split the fuel rail duty to half the injectors. I'm hoping to convince my customer to upgrade his ms3(using dual pumps), by beating him in a turbo 8
.
.
I can see it...
My '12 ms3 is easily heads and shoulders faster than my t2. That's with the extremely touchy launch required in the ms3 and maniacal torque steer. From a roll it's even worse. The 6spd does a good job keeping it in the power.
Guess that means it's time to throw some more $$ at the rx7 haha.

Lost in all of this is how did both of you beat a Civic SI Turbo? Seems alittle strange considering even with a small turbo those things can make well over 400whp.
Unless its like a 1989 stock SI or something.
