Well I am currently tuning a touch with my S-AFC (with no wideband) and I got the chance to try it out tonght aginst two cars both I killed 1 was VERY CLOSE..

First run was aginst a SVT focus.. from what I know it is bone stock we went form a 40mph pull and I got him every time but to be honest if it was;nt for the 7500 rpm pull I would get beat.. (now from a dig he is all mine everytime)

2nd kill was a 94ish Integra from what I understand he has intake and exhaust we did a 40+ pull and I walked all over him by the end where I let off I had atleast a car on him..

My car if you dont know is a 86' coupe n/t 5spd with racing beat road race exhaust (all RB back to stock mufflers) and a cone filter in the stock location.. electric fan, no emissions (which neithr do anything) and I have the SAFC on with just a touch of fuel pulled from 3-6K

I beat my buddy in his Evo 9 from a dig.. he stalled I won..
I beat my buddy in his 240Z with a zxt swap he had no traction I squated at the light I had 3 cars before he got traction.. a win is a win..

You are thinking of the "nitrous ready" Saleen Focus. I think they discontinued that is 2005. He's just talking about the SVT Focus which had ~170 hp and 145 ft-lbs tq.

Both the cars are turds on wheels. I killed an SVT Focus with my MR2 that was setup for autocross. His story is believable.

Basically what it amounts to is we have a match up of a bunch of slow cars, and his NA FC has an advantage with RWD from the dig.

Props for the kills.

 

neither of these were from a dig though and the svt focus has a high rpm band as well thus what made it a great race and kill for me..

now froma dig I plan to kill both cars.

Spooled up Racing was started back when I had my old 88 Mitsubishi starion 462hp at the wheels..

Me and a buddy registerd the name when we decided to make it our racing team name.. he owns a 73 Datsun 240 with a 280ZXT engine swap


I then registered a business here in Michigan with the same name.

Because I "currently" dont own a turbo does not mean I dont have a desire to have another.. I have spent many years with turbo vehicles and I am hopeing to build a T2 engine this winter (or atleast get started on it) to drop into my FC

And thats the story of my SN and all about Spooled up Racing
