*VIDEO*my93TT vs. 25psi EVO VIII *VIDEO*

This is a video to go along with my post
93TT kills C5/SS/350Z/Evo/COP/Cobra...

]RX7 vs EVO[/URL]

The guy in the EVO had an Intake/Exhaust, Big FMIC, boost contrl and
claimed 25psi,.... and some Big graphics.

I wish it was not so dark, but it makes the point just the same
*note* that is the shift to 4th as I pass him, @ about 100mph
PS I dont know the guy talkin, he wanted to go for the ride and offered to film it

HAHA, yeah, I still get goose bumps when I watch it.
It was supposed to be a fat 1/4 or .3miles on the odometer, marked by his and my GF in a car on the shoulder. But they couldn't do the "math" and marked at .6miles! Thats her in the picture, sweetheart,....but not so smart!
Well I'm hittin 135-140mph at the top of 4th and I didnt see the end, so I hit the break,.. then I saw it, he says "keep going *****, what you doooah, and I just stayed in front
*Stock/original eng/twins .9bars PFC, plus the usual goodies

LOL @ calling your girl not smart

Either way, your car is fast and you have a cool gf. Most GF's dont like to participate in things like that. You're lucky you have one that does.

As much as I enjoy the killz, i'm more interested in finding out if your g/f has an older sister or maybe a similarly "not so smart" fiiend looking to ride around in an FD...lol

all jokes aside, congrats on the kill...

Something is terribly not right about that video. The EVO has you by 3 cars+ and you pull him and blow by him by another 3+ cars all before 1/4 mile.

Either that EVO is tuned like total crap or he needs some serious work on the driver mod!! Both cars should be in the 110-115mph range.

Good race and be safe.

You have made a definitive judgment on my skills by just one launch, where I broke traction for a split second at the top end of first gear in a modified twin turbo RX-7 on street tires on an unfamiliar piece of road doubling as a dragstrip??

You are a moron who thinks he knows something about a subject that he can't possibly know enough about to make any meaningful criticism, but you like to hear yourself none the less, and when you open your mouth all that comes out is...
"d-d-d-donkyballs".

Nice kill...

You did bog the launch though, but that's ok. Cause you raped the EVO pretty badly...hehe.

Good stuff!!

Thank You,
But no bog. I eased into it at 4K, It broke loose, I let up and ease in again. Watch the tach, never below 4K. Traction is laughable in first, even in second the tires will sometimes grab at 4K then just break free again at 6K. I just received two extra rims to put some type of R-compound tire on for this spring. That will make things more predictable
EVO did a 5.5K AWD dump, straight to full throttle with reduced tire pressure. Even if I had a perfect launch with equal tires, this method almost doubles the force that he can apply,.. for as long as traction is the limiting factor. A real drag car does not need AWD because they are set up for full weight transfer to the drive wheels, they then employ tires that provide the maximum traction possible.
