Red face Yet anotehr make sure i have everything so the car doesnt explode thread

Okay, so as of this moment i have only one of my cars close to useable. And that is my "tII". Im just waiting for a few little crap parts to finish it. The track i am going to is a smaller track. I am not going to be competiting, i want to learn for a while. Feel my limits, etc. There is little traffic to the traffic so i wont have to worry about alot of people passing me. Its a good learning place.

But in the meantime, i want to prepare everything to take it out to the closet track. nelson's ledges is basically a drivers track. no real place to spectate and its close to the shop (40 minutes away). more often than not i will be driving the car there and back, but AAA can tow my *** 100 miles in the event i have a failure.

Anywho. so far car wise.

Suspension has some spare Eibach springs and tokico illumia blues which i dont like the feel of but for now i will have to deal with it.

Im am using a set of older Ronal wheels that are decent light in weight with some tires that are a little worn. I had to use 1/2 spacer to make things fit right.

interior is pretty stripped out. Important gauges are easy to see. Ie oil temp.

I am going to run two oil filters to increase oil capacity.

Everything is ducted.

The manual steering rack might get interesting....

I have a portable air tank to maintain tire pressure. a spare wheel set. tools etc. Spare belts and fluids of all sorts.

what else should i really be looking to bring? maybe some recommendations to fine tune the car? i have had an interest in this for the longest time and am getting terribly excited about it.
