Here is a youtube link to the biggest roadrace in Western Canada . It is the 3rd annual $10,000 prize fund Childrens charity grand prix held at Mission raceway . Action packed and very hard driving!

Twenty-four entrees from from all over the map . Cars include : stock bmw's , v8 m3's , 1991 trans am champion beretta, corvette, gt1 stock cars, gt2 nissans, porsche gt3 r, Porsche 911 twin turbo, etc. This race is by invitation only and some of the drivers were also top notch: Eg. overall winner of the sebring 12 hour 1983, nasport champion, cacc champion , pacific northwest champion, multiple indy sedan winners, honda michelin champion, several driving instructors, etc ., etc.

Our 20b turbo rx7 was not running up to par. We had 4 year old throw away slicks ( the new ones were mounted backwards and we had no time to change them) , , a bad u joint ( see the video shake at the end of the straight ) , and boost problems. Our lap times were 2 seconds off from last year. But we drove hard, had a few moments and had a good race until................... well watch part 4 and see for yourself.

The crash definitely sucked, there was nothing you could do. Good job on turning to the right to avoid hitting the other car that had gone off.
