I didn't think we were that predictable, it belongs to a buddy of ours, Richy. he started building it when Rob started but has a second baby on the way and just can't finish the project. It is a smokin deal for someone wanting to get into racing or even return it to a street car. If anybody has any questions, I'd be glad to answer them as best as I can.

BigAl...

Yeah, I got a steal on the car. I saw the car originally in this thread. It was just too good of a deal to pass up with all the new parts and the very nice cage. I will be deployed until June, but look for some pictures and track video's shortly after that

I agree and congrats

Can't wait to take a ride in that baby

If ship-n-out is still selling his racecar that's possibly an even better deal. I was very tempted by his car but owning a racecar is a whole different animal which I quickly learned when I bought Brad Barbers car.

The preface should read non streetable Single Turbo 13B FD Race car blah blah

For example if you have leaks that only show up under load or heavy cornering there's no way to test or if you have a tuning issue, boost issue, etc...etc... it's difficult to iron out problems outside of the track enviroment.

The only real problem I had was not being able to test so if your car is ok for street use then I'd say go for but wear a harness at all times because even a small fender bender could serious dent your head.

what engine mounts are you using to have the motor so far back? Did you cut the firewall?

Sorry, just saw this. I have no idea but I assume it's all hinson stuff. I haven't even seen the car in person yet and don't really have any prior LS1 FD experience.

It looks like I'm going to have the car dropped off with Dan Chadwick(Chadwick on the forum) to finish while I'm still deployed so it'll be ready to hit the track by the time I get home He is one of the few people I trust to work on my cars. He may throw up some updates as time permits... he might not. I just can't wait to get this thing on the track It's all in the hands of the talented "Mr. Sparkles" now... haha.

I will be doing a build thread on it as I get time. We should be starting on it pretty soon. There is no question this car will be a beast when it hits the track .
