It's running a dogbox gear set that fits in a Mazda rx7 series 4,5 gearbox. It's made in Australia.

Cheers

Looks like a solid build there. Handling looks incredibly precise. Nice driving, and what a track!

Great footage and great driving, love the battles over the top of the hill with the Holdens, very different cars, different lines needed etc.

Nice work on the brakes at the end of Conrod in that second lap. What brake package are you running?

What RPM are you doing at the end of Conrod?

Do you know if the guys who made your dog gear set do a set for a series 6/7/8?

Thanks
Shaun

hi shaun,
we have a brake package with 310mm disc and with ap calipers on the front (we are limited to 15x7 inch rim) and series 3 gen 1 rear disc and with nissan calipers. At the end of conrod the car is around 10200 rpm higher then what we would like but need the gearing for the hill (shift light at 9000). it hits around 260km/h. we can get the gear set for the series 6,7,8 for you but i dont know how much power it can handle as the casing has its limitation. i've heard of this gearset in cars with 500hp but we have never tried it in one of our high hp customer cars.
they arent a cheap gear set but are made to a high standard. you could pm me if you want more details..

cheers

Great couple of laps, looked like if you got past that Torana you could have got away from him.

The torana finished 5th and we finished 3rd. We were 4 to 5 sec faster but Bathurst is a hard track to past on when you don't have a high hp v8. But that's the class we race in.
Cheers
