Alright I answered my own question. Yes it will work. The gasket has a pin hole for the return, but it's the same size as the FD return. This is the best solution I've seen and it works great in my car. after 3 hard races not gunk in the neck and no oil loss at all...

I know this is digging up an old thread!!

I have a Turbo 2 engine in a first gen that easily pulls in excess of 1G on the track.
I am having an oily mess like explained in this thread.

I DO NOT have the passenger side turbo oil return like the 3rd gens have, but would like to do a crankcase vent on the passenger side.

I am doing the oil cap (turkey baster mod) and a Moroso oil catch can/separator, so that will address the drivers side.

Here is my question:
I have removed the OMP and the associated gear drive. I plugged off the oil feed to the OMP shaft and put a block plate on.
Can I modify that OMP block off plate (weld a hose fitting) and use that for an alternate crankcase vent? I saw where people have drilled the front cover and did this... Do you think this would work, or would there be some kind of oil spray there?

I REALLY don't want to remove my front cover and drill and tap!

Ideas?
