Stock IC on FD Road Racer

I am having a heated discussion with my buddy about the way to do the IC on are new race car,

It will be running a T04B turbo running about 6-8psi of boost none stop on a long road course. He is wanting to vent the hood and leave the stock rad position (aluminum rad) and put a stock IC in the stock position with a stock duct.

I don't this this will cool the turbo air down enough with the extreme heat the turbo will be putting out.

I want a v mount setup with normal size ic ( about the same as a front mount)

Come on let us have your thoughts.
