What was the general attitude at the track? Lots of griping, or were people enjoying it?

Wow.

If that ever happens here, the retort "Yeah, when Hell freezes over" will no longer be usable.

Wow. We were in Indy for the Revolution and the lapping event. It snowed in the morning with no real accumulation except on the windshield of my truck. And I though that was bad! We still got to run and it actually turned into a decent day.

actually the whole weekend sucked bad, hard rain on fri for the scca test and tune, sat was just cold and well yea sunday was snowy. overal I'd say people were enjoying it for the most part. I mean what could they do, it was a SCCA national so these people are serious and besides its not every weekend that you get a chance to play in the rain or snow in general. a couple of the guys I overheard said that they were glad it was crappy out since they didn't really have that much experience and that it helped them out.

The picture was taken in the morning the had the track cleared off by the time the races started. They shortened the races and ran it under a full yellow the whole thing, no passing. Sucked but everyone got credit for finishing the race.

no 7's only pro mazda's, formula mazda's and a GT3 rx3, it was pretty sweet. No matter how often you see them the production miata's still look funny without the glass and stuff.

Wow, really? Full yellow the whole time? So was there a qualifying session and everybody just finished where they qualified? I would think a bunch of drivers would be whining about that (you know how those National-only guys are! )

Chris as you know to make it to the big show you must start/finish the required number of races. Check over on the production board for more details as to the Chief Stewards logic. This was the only real solution for all involved. Now for you Spec7 guys, I would have gone green and let you guys have a crash fest.

Hope to see you at TMS next weekend.

I'll be there with the ITA and SM cars. Not running, myself... too crappy a track to have to drive a second rig up and spend a whole bunch of money not enjoying it!

Did I miss that thread on the production board? I'll have to look around again, didn't see it during my morning visit.
