Racing rotor housings (furai engine)

hello guys
My friend in Budapest has race built RX8 with a 450hp N/A engine, they paid 30K for that thing. He says it is the same engine as in mazda furai concept. His housing cracked, we removed it yesterday. Can you guys help me? where can we order such housing?

is it a 20bpp?
I believe that's what a furai had. You're gunna have to find out what rotor housings it uses before you can replace one of them.

Looks like a Mazda Factory Racing PP housing still available through Mazdaspeed. Might be a 13G or something else uber rare though. What are the codes on it? Oh and sell me that front cover set up!

The Furai uses the Racing Beat peripheral port housings which are nothing more than factory 13B housings that they have cut p-ports into. They are not the same as the factory housings. The inlet angle is different as is the port timing. The exhaust manifold bolt pattern is also different between them. The RB housings make more average power than the Mazda pieces but less peak power. That is according to Speedsource's testing.

You could also call Mazmart in Atlanta (across the street from Jim Downing). They'd be able to source you one but if you've already gotten in touch with Jim then that's just as good.

Your engine is a 13G engine and it's hard to find any parts to that engine. The only guy i know who has alot of this parts is Dennis Spencer who bought a nearly new 13G drysump front cover from me that i found in Japan. The Furai engine were built by Racing Beat and they use a 20B core to that project.
If you need parts to a 13G engine you can ask Racing Beat, Jim Downing or Dennis Spencer.
I bought some 13G rotors from RB for some years ago and i asked if they have more but they didn't have any more of this.
I bought 2 rotors from Dave @Mazdatrix that i have in my shop and if any one have a good rotor for sale i need one more to my 3 rotor
