PP with locked Dizzy. Leaving too much on the tablem
Really just for fun on the street. But i do plan to attend a good amount of local SCCA events.
Engine is a PP Renesis. 51 IDA Weber. Locked 13b Dizzy at full advance. Leading only ignition. Trailing is plugged. Direct fire using 2 GM Style ignitors and MSD Blaster SS Coils. Coil on plug. I had this on my street port 12a and seemed to work very well. The original idea for that engine was blow through turbo, which is why I locked the Dizzy originally.
but now going with a PP all rotor, I don't want to leave 20hp out there just to have my fancy pants ignition set up.
any insight from experienced carbureted peripheral guys on ignition setup?
