Pacific Raceways video

I don't have any fancy website to post on... or a decent camera for that matter! But here's a couple links to the SCCA National that my son drove in last month... proof that I do indeed race a racecar. The video is really better quality but youtube must do some really lossy compression. Hmmm kinda like last year's engine!

Here's the longest one with quite a bit of racing action:

Here's a short one with a Z06 getting trashed:

Here's a lap around Laguna Seca... I'm driving in this one so no complaints!

The Z06 was wrecked pretty bad. It started when the right front corner of hte BMW contacted the left rear corner of the vette.
The vett went up the grassy knoll on the left of the track (that you see in the video). That knoll drops back down for an access road and then there's another bank on the other side of the access road. (Actually the access road is the turn 3a escape road) The vette went airborn over the access road and hit the second bank on the driver's side. You can barely see a flash of yellow in the extreme left of the video as the vette is coming to rest on the second bank. The entire driver's side was wrecked with both wheels pointing at very wrong angles. I'm pretty sure I could build another complete car like mine for the cost of repairing the vette.
