Need some help with EFI to carb questions

I bought the RB intake manifold and a holley 600cfm to install on my 89 GXL. I have it on, but how do you reccomend i block the holes where the secondary injectors were?

Also, I was removing the engine wiring harness and saw that the starter is tied in with the rest of the wires. I have ordered a dizzy ignition i plan on installing, do i still need the starter? Yeah a dumb question, but i'm still not 100% sure how the dizzy works without having it right in front of me.

I assume you mean the primary injector holes in the intermediate housing of the engine? You have 2 options. You can leave the fuel injectors and the fuel rail in it just not hooked up. This assumes that everything clears. The other option is to purchase some fuel injector plugs from Racing Beat.

Part# 18147 $33.00

You will definitely need a starter unless you plan on push starting the car. A distributer is very simple. Look up a wiring schematic of a 1st gen system to see how they did it. It is pretty simple. Here's a link to the entire '84 workshop manual in PDF. You;ll have to look through it but it's all there.

thanks man! The wires from my starter go through my firewall, but I haven't traced them from there, I assume they go straight to my iginition? I just want to make sure they don't pass through the ECU first.
