Need Jerico Help
Picked up a complete Jerico package from a 13b NA FC road race car and like all things, this has turned out to be a more difficult project than expected.
The Good:
4spd Jerico (with Taylor getting refresh now) and 13b adapter
2 custom driveshafts
The Not so Good/Not Using:
Unknown 13b bellhousing with TO bearing collar sheared off, it's been riding on the input shaft and TO bearing won't even slide off collar.
Unknown stock appearing used steel flywheel
Unknown stock appearing used pressure plate
4 puck 18 spline 1 13/16" used disk
The Questions:
I am trying to acquire the right parts to mate this to my 13b NA 6 port FC. I have a Mazdacomp (Centerforce) NA stock size aluminum flywheel I'd like to try and use.
What bellhousing do I need to find? RX-3, TII S4 or S5 or ?
What starter do I use assuming NA stock size flywheel? Modifications to bellhousing?
Can I use a stock size PP, such as ACT Xtreme for 13b NA?
Where to get the right size disk to fit?
Correct TO bearing?
Slave cylinder bolt right up?

68 views and no reply? Good thing I found all the answers with a few phone calls. Not going to post here but will over a PM. Going a different route with clutch/flywheel than I had originally thought.

I can offer a few suggestions since we've been running a Jerico 4 speed for quite some time with great results.
the adapter we use bolts directly to a tt2 bellhousing or an rx3 bellhousing (same bolt pattern) you'll have to machine the throwout bearing sleeve to accept the input shaft, if you use the rx3 bellhousing you must use the smaller flywheel, either way you can use the stock starter(you will have to machine the tranny case to make room for the starter). I don't see a reason why you couldn't use any clutch that's made for the tt2. I ended up using a 4disk tilton clutch and a tilton hydraulic throwout bearing ($$$).
BTW, the Jerico is now for sale. It has zero use since professional rebuild, Mazda/Jerico adapter (alot of work went into this adapter as well as machining the case to accept the Mazda starter), billet top cover, complete stud w/12 point aircraft hardware, hurst shifter with 2 brackets short/long as well as matching shift rods for both brackets, custom fabbed shifter lever. This is the latest version of the Jerico four speed with the center support and micro polished gears. This straight cut dog box will handle just about anything you throw at it. It's perfect to go racing, we use exactly the same type of box in Rob's car and it works awesome, the faster you pull the lever the better it shifts!
The price is $3500 shipped to lower 48

I don't know what make of input shaft uses an 18 spline 1 13/16" shaft.
My G-Force setup has the 23 spline GM input shaft. I use a twin disc 7-1/4" Quartermaster clutch pack with a Mazdaspeed quartermaster flywheel. It is easy to find those clutch discs in the GM fine spline.
I use a RX-4 bell housing, and then behind that is an adapter to the G-Force transmission. I use a stock Mazda throw out bearing.
