My Custom titanium muffler blow a hole at track

13B RE full bridge port FC
Car feel slower and sound weird at today track testing, was thinking have bad tank gas , all the sudden I was surrounded by cloud of smoke and see spark underneath the car ,
Pull off at runoff area , only discoverer my custom exhaust is in cherry red with giant hole !!! And my interior is at fire from those high temperatures silencer material, glad I was able to pull off fire before it get out of control

strange thing is muffler hold up , is not crack at weld which is most common failure I seen
the failure seen the center tube that hold up material crack , the tube bent shot high EGT to the muffler body and melt it

Holy crap! That is crazy. Really glad you caught it before the fire got out of control.

Your car is beautiful, love a N/A FC track setup like that. What a cool car.

I think I found potential issue of fail
the incompete weld from factory, already informing my fabrication shop not using this on any NA rotaty race car
