Talking My Base Beater's first Auto-X

I had a blast, Fastest Second Gen there (ONLY SECOND-GEN THERE!)

My times were off due to :
a. My crappy driving
b. My shitty-*** TIRES
c. 3.9 NON-LSD Auto rear end

Car just completed a manual trans swap.

But I had a blast, even though I got up at 6:30 AM to install the AGX's before I drove to Columbia to get registered by 10:15

Car had adequate power, able to break rear loose at will.

Ended up Running
2 Front/ 6 Rear on the KYB AGX's with Eibach Pros.
Tires: Toyo Touring front 30 PSI
Firestone F570's rear 28 PSI

Plans for next Auto-X:
4.3 GTUS Rear-End
K2RD CAMBER LINK BAR
5 LUG CONVERSION
FULL ALIGNMENT
BBS VERT RIMS
TIRES????? <-- NEED HELP WITH THIS

Falken Azensis Sport 205/50/15.

the aspect ratio is a bit low for stock wheels but oh well. u get better acceleration and response.

Best of all the tires are cheap.

Glad you had fun. It's adicting isn't it? Amaizing how many people will use up their whole day ( at lease half of it), spend money, and stand in the blazing sun or driving rain for under ten minutes of driving...

BTW, where'd you get that 4.3 rear end?

Tires, depends on the class.

Street tire, the Azenzis seem to be the tire to go with.

Race tire, much different can of worms. Do you want as fast as you can go or do you want to not have to replace tires every 2-3 events?
