MOMO racing seat

This will probably get moved, but moderators consider leaving it here since it's a race item, please.

My buddy just bought a brand new MOMO racing seat a week ago, and it fits him too tight. He's 6'2" and 280lbs. I told him he oughta do a few pushbacks to lose some weight, as in pushback from the table once in a while.

Anyway he's emailing me the particulars on it. He said he paid $500 for it and will take around $350, just to try and recoup some bucks; he's got plenty so the loss is no real big deal to him. It's never been used. He also has the mounting brackets for another $50.

If interested pm me and we'll get some dialog going.

I know why you don't have the $350; you spent it replacing that hood ornament (your aerodynamic mod) and the headliner in that Caravan, right? Also you finally paid to have the clunking sound removed, right?

LOL............I remember your sig from months ago......funniest stuff I've read on the forum..........

You gotta post your sig...........God knows what it says now.............

C-ya and I'll see if he'll take Layaway...........

well, the vans tranny ****. sometimes it would shift. you had to rev it in 1st for about 10 min to get it going when cold, lol. my 1st gen's rearend decided it didn't want to play right before i moved to louisville, go figure. so now i have a 91, completely stock. sold the van to a junkyard for.....................$40. thats right folks. rolling in the dough. fortunately the clunking wheel never fell off. however it had brand new tires on the front right before the tranny ****, dammit. oh yeah and i lost the love of my life. so i have adopted the following sig. its a lot more sadistic, lol. but hey, it goes with the times. if he does take layaway i'll work on it. i'm in the running for a new job so hopefully i will be making enough money to afford to eat and pay off my credit cards. good to know someone got a kick out of my sig. now a moment of silence for the rolling toolbox....................

Ah...That makes since now. TOOL is the greatest band EVER!

I went to the website above your avatar and it was a **** site. I thought it was cool until it put about a hundred files on my desktop and in my favorites folder. Not to mention the two thousand pop ups. Whats up with that?

LOL David

I'm not interested in the seat, but as for your friend, I'm just a bit wider than he his and pretty much the only seats I can find to fit me are the aluminum race seats (Kirkey intermediates), or some of the extra wide Corbeau seats. The corbeau probably won't fit in the space available for an RX-7, it's a tight fit in the Trans Am.

Yeah Silkworm...........that's what he had to do also; buy an aluminum seat for about $600 or so..........he said they were like 18" instead of only 16" wide, which was too tight.............

Speaking of tight; did I ever tell this forum I was born with 5 *********..........my underwear fit like a glove......

I'm here all week, folks...........try the veal............

Hmmmmmmmmmmm......................a brand new $500 MOMO seat, that I would presume some people buy at some time because they seem to still be in business, and if you were such a person you could: A. buy it for $500 or B. Get it for $150 less than that but, alas, no, it is "not worth it", according to the genius ssR0150, with all his 3 post wisdom....................However, a PAIR of brand new ******* $500 MOMO seats WOULD be worth it, for $350 total.

Hang on a minute while I ponder the math....................ahah, I think you're on to something................I'm going to call my buddy and ask him to buy ANOTHER ******* $500 seat so that he can then sell you the entire $1000 worth of MOMO seats for the $350 you so generously offered................

Do us all a favor and hold your breath, literally, until I get an answer on this for you....................if you start to turn blue, don't worry, just keep on holding that breath......it'll only hurt for a little bit...........

I'm not saying you're tight, but I'm guessing if we shove a lump of charcoal up your *** and wait a day or so it would probably come out a diamond.

Happy Hannukah, ssrwhateverthefuck your screenname was..............

Seat

Hey, Mr. ZUMZUM how much does the seat weigh? And how wide did you say it was? I am 6 220 and think it may fit. I am in the market for a seat and yes I will need the bracket. Most important think for me is the weigh.

Let me know and maybe my wife can buy it for me for christmas.

Thanks
Allan

Hey Spank:

I'm guessing it'll fit you like a glove. I'm 5'11", and 212lbs. and it fits me perfect. I would've jumped on it myself but I love the stock tan leather seats in my FD, and a red and black seat against tan carpet? Hmmmmmmmm...........

btw, It was his hips obviously that were too tight........I wear 38" waist pants...........I just measured across my hips (mid-butt) and I'm 43" around. Hell, I could be a tailor by the time all this is through............

Lemme know if you think it'll fit.

Spank:

Just noticed you asked about the weight of the seat. I'm gonna check the MOMO website, but I picked it up and it's light as a feather. I'll reply as soon as I find out..........I'm actually going down to his house in a couple of minutes and if I can't find it on the website I'll just weigh the sombitch.
