looking for fastener source...

does anyone know of a good source of high quality metric fasteners?

i'd prefer to be able to buy local (california bay area), but internet/mail order would be ok. most of the places i've found on the internet, including mcmaster-carr, seem to require bulk orders.

TIA
fabian

ps....i was going to find a place in san jose called mr metric.....but i've heard their stock is not the best quality around.

Foko, what do you need? I work for YardBirds home center in Norcal, we have a full selection of grade 8.8 metric as well as a large line of metric stainless. LMK Carl Byck

Mr. Metric in San Jose, off of 10th Street.

Only place I can find hardened metric bolts in the south bay.

oh, just reread your post. I have no complaints with their quality, they've got fasteners in both my TA and RX-7

For internet orders, I like MDMetric www.mdmetric.com I think. I order everything by the 100 lot, but it still beats paying like a dollar a piece from Home Depot or somewhere
