Installing stationary gear bearings

Pineapple has a great vid about insalling the rotor bearings. The stationary gears also seem to need a trick to align one of the bearing holes with the screw hole.

It's not that hard to do but maybe there is a simple trick to get it right the first time.

Thx

Mark the bearing with a sharpy with a line along the edge lined up with the hole. Then mark the stat gear to show where the screw is and line them up and shove them together.

does the housing need lubrication before pressing them in or is it better dry-dry?

You want them clean and dry. Any lube will promote spinning of the bearing in the gear. Freeze the bearing before you install it and it'll slide right in.

Also slight warming of the rotor/stationary gear also helps.
