help Tacho installing

I just Bought A Auto-Meter RPM Monster Tacho and im having problems putting it in as i know it needs to be connceted to the Ignition coils But in my rx7 series 2 i have twin coils and i don't know what to hook it you to do i hook it to both or just one and also on the in structions it tells you that for a 8 cylinder don't cut any loops on the back for a 6 cylinder cut 1 and for a 4 cylinder cut 2 but it doesn't say for a rotory so please if anyone has installed one before please give me an idea of what to do

thanks a heap

On a series 2, it should not matter, but generally you put it on the Trailing ignition coil (because later RX-7s use a wasted spark Leading ignition, which fires twice per rev). The trailing ignition on all rotary engines fire like a wasted spark four banger (every 360 degrees).
