It can be done BUT its is a lot of work - The Stock instruments are not indvidual units but are all integretated into a single cluster behind the faces. Gordon Monsen posted a bunch of info about this subject about a year ago, maybe you should search for it.

rigthi understand that but i what i mean is that when you pull all the guages behing out, will i be able to fit some autometer's in those circles? or will i have to mod it a little bit? im just tryign to find out if it will be a perfect fit for some 2 1/16 and like im guessing a 3 3/8 -5" tach and speedo..but im sure if not i can find something that would fit in there right?
thanks for the info though.. what was his screen name here?

The small guage facess on the fd are very close to 2 1/16 guages
I don't know about the Tach and Spedo sizes.

Check Max Cooper's site ( www.maxcooper.com ) he recently posted a page about installing some SPA dual digital guages in place of the stock water temp & oil press guages.

Gordon was Gmonsen or Gmonsen2 on the forum

i assume your talking about putting them in an FD. yes it can be done. actually mounting the gauges isn't that hard. if you want to go all out you could try wiring the gauges into the stock harness then replacing the sensors at the other end. might be the easier than running all those new wires, one of the only companies i could find (and i looked for al ong time) that had everything was autometer. Defi has everything but a speedo, at least last i checked
