Is this a full bridge?? What carb?

Bought a 13b 6 port rebuilt engine and seller said full bridge with ported turbo exhaust.

I'm trying to determine what carburetor I need for endurance racing.

Is this a full bridge? He gave me a used 650 Holley. If that works, what jets?

"Full bridge" generally means primary and secondary ports are ported.

I haven't had a 6 port half bridge that felt all that great. They had nice mid range power but nothing like a four port. I tried several different methods of bridge porting, I had something like four different iterations of 6 port bridge.

He did a great job porting everything.

Based on this site... http://www.mazdarotary.net/porting.htm

It looks like he did a full bridge. Since this will be a track car, my only concern is fuel economy.

Ok... he said he left the 5th and 6th port alone , but did Atkins insert.

This is a pic of what he did. He bridged and ported all plates with the exception above.

Run it if you got it. I would never waste time bridge porting anything with '86-up side housings unless I was willing to cut the coolant seal, which I am not.

exactly! early 4 port engine or even T2 irons would have been way better to start with. what did you pay for that engine?

It's going to be a chump/lemon car, so I needed a fresh build.

$1000

You might be doing this twice soon, I couldn't build my own engine for a $1000 with buying a full rebuild kit and buying a good usable core, let us know how it goes after the first outing

He's an RX7 nut, and just wanted his cost out of it.

He built it for his own car, so it's an honest build. He sold his FB before he could drop it in ...to someone that couldn't live without it. He also has an S4, and is going to drop a LS in it, so he's just raising funds for it.

He has cores and rotors throughout his garage.
