Front bearings; original, oem or something fancy?

I didn't get any replies in the 1st gen forum. Hoping you guys can help.

I'm replacing the front rotors on the autox car. Should I reuse the old bearing (assuming they look ok), replace them with OEM parts, or find a race version?

I don't mind spending the money if it's worth it but I'd just as soon save the money for something else if it's not needed.

I am going to switch the '85 GS rear with a GSL rear, replace bushings, shocks and springs. More than likely the sway bars and anything else that I can think of. I'm looking at a total project of about $2,000 - $3,000.

Whenever I replace my rotors I get new bearings, too. It may be overkill, but for as little as they cost, it's not worth risking a DNF. I just use OEM parts.

OEM bearings are fine, agreed with the rotors=bearings replacement cycle on an RR car, not so sure it's as necessary on an auto-x car.
