I might have a trailer for you

Lets DO THIS fellas

6 FDs and counting this could turn into an historical event............
Just signed up for Chin. You guys should try and make the NJMP event with Chin. They are going to run both the Lightning and Thunderbolt courses.
Fritz, it could be 7 FDs if you want to loan me your track car for the two days

I'd love to try that track but it's too far of a drive carrying along a car that's got about a 50% chance of making it through the weekend lol.

I think I am going to have to sign up for this. 4 Days(with the other event I'm doing) at the track while I am home on leave for 2 weeks... that'll be hard to beat. I just have to make sure I'm not going to have to head back to Afghanistan before then.
Anyone have any feedback on a hotel close by? I saw the one on the website, just wanted to see if there was anything closer. Thanks and hopefully I will see you all there.

Well, I just signed up and payed. It'll be good to see/meet everyone there and hang out at the track for a couple of days. This is my first time at a larger track and am looking forward to the seat time.

Look forward to meeting you. This event is looking better and better
Have fun guys! I would love to go with so many other club members but these events are a bit pricey and I've already blown 4 or 5 track weekends' worth of budget on the lemons race earlier this month. Maybe next year

Yikes,
I just checked out the Chin event, and it's $550 + a $50 membership?! I thought the $450 Trackmasters fee at WGI was bad. Not sure I can hang w/ $600 + consumables.

Back to the event... anyone have any hotel recommendations for this event? If not, I'll leave it up to google. Thanks.

Back from VIR F w/ the PCA club and things went well and I had lots of fun chasing some beautiful German hardware.
Peter Hahn was also at the event but lost his trans the last session of the 1st day. He turned some good times especially since this was his 1st event of the season and also showed me how to brake in my own car
. I let him take it out for few laps and he was very happy with the ride but I noticed the tank getting low so I was able to use that as an excuse to bring him in so he wouldn't embarrass me further
Here's a vid on youtube. Quality sucks but you can see the big grin right through my helmet
