FD meet @ Bremerton?
Hey all,
I'm planning on going to my first National Tour event in Bremerton July 26, 27? Anyone from the forum going?
I've been looking over ASP and SM2 results, I see a few names from here that look familiar. I don't know what class I'm going to class myself in, I guess my car is legal for both classes.
I don't plan on being a trophy winner, I just want to see how I do, hopefully not last

Ehhh, there's dozens of FD owners in this area but most of them lack the nads to even autoX. Is it me or do most FD owners fit this profile?
The few (literally only a few FD's come out and it's the same guys most every time) that do come out are local regulars. They are very good drivers so you'll have to earn that trophy.

No it isn't you. I just posted in another post, most guys talk about mods then cruise the mall. FD owners are posers, prove me wrong!
Anyway myself, another FD and a Type R are coming up to have some fun. We just plan on taking in the experience of a national event.
Looking at the results from previous national events I think I'll go into SM2. It seems ASP was slower than SS by 3 sec (two days). Tom Kotizan (SS Z06 driver) usually beats me by ~2 sec. I looked at the results, that should put me near the top in ASP or SM2, crossing my fingers!

Jeff

You probably saw me and my co-driver on the SM2 list for Houston then too. Yeah, yeah ... I coned my good runs, so I essentially gave him my trophy. (I got him back at the Divisional.) National Tour and Divisional courses are a level above regional courses. You won't regret it.

Yeah, too many FD guys are scared of their own cars if they push them on the back roads or at the track. I'm glad some of you guys know better.
I've seen dozens of FD's around here. Lot's of Micro$ofties with more dollars than sense buying cars that appeal to their eyes. I've left I don't know how many notes on them to come out to this site. They just aren't all that interested in it I guess. Many of them go to M3's once the maintenance starts to get to them. Like I said, it's very common around this town.

Wendover and Bremerton
I will be at both Wendover and Bremerton. If you guys want to have a blast you need to try the Pro-Solo events.
Wendover should be good for the 7 due to the altitude. It is my last shot at beating Scotty White before he gets to many points to catch at the nationals.
So count me in for Bremerton.
At the Atwater National tour there was 11 cars im SM2. At the Pro-Solo there were only about 5 or 6. So come on guys lets do our best to make both events.
