FC fiberglass hatch/lexan?

Anyone have a good source for these? I know ISCRacing.net used to sell them but doesn't look like they do anymore. I'd also rather not buy the ~$600 lexan from Mazdaspeed.

Any tips appreciated!

I think I read on the IT forum about people taking two pieces of stock glass and painting them black and sandwiching the lexan between them and setting it out in the sun for the day and then it'll hold its shape pretty well. I don't know about doing that on something with a curve as aggressive as the hatch though. jgrewe is/was selling hatch frames at very least, he might also have lexan to go with it, try sending him a PM.

you can do the rear hatch out of a flat piece of lexan, it fits surprisingly well. I just did it on the ep car at the shop a couple weeks ago.

If that was an FC and it doesn't have a seperate frame it isn't EP legal. You can just fit a piece of lexan in the stock frame but all the weight of the stock frame is up by the hinges. IIRC the stock frame weighs 17 lbs, mine weighs about 3 lbs bare and about 14 with lexan.
